Mama K was turned over to the Saraland Animal Shelter, along with her 3 one week old kittens. Saraland Animal Shelter could not keep the family; cage space is VERY LIMITED and a big cage can't be used for the amount of time it would take the babies to grow and be weaned. Thankfully, the shelter has an amazing director with a huge heart! She contacted Save a Stray and we were able to find a foster home for the family! After being in foster care for five days, Mama K adopted an abandoned one week old kitten, treating it like it was her own. Mama K is gentle and loving, a true lap cat! She gets along with dogs, other cats and kids.
