Ivar (2/18)
Ivar (2/18)

It's me! Tennessee! You might remember me as Ivar. I LOVE my new home! I had a pretty easy time getting used to my new mommy and daddy! Daddy slept next to my crate on my first night to make sure I knew that nobody would ever leave me again! Since I moved in I got lots of new toys (I like to tear open my plushy ones but Dad takes them before I get to eat the fuzzy part). I have learned soooo many new tricks! Daddy and I have practiced and practiced I am really good at lots of them! I have a really nice neighborhood to walk around the block with mom and dad. I LOVE WALKS! I don’t even pull on my leash anymore! I have a friend Elli that I play with too. She’s a big girl so I have to be careful because sometimes Dad says we play a little rough until I get bigger! Speaking of getting bigger I have gotten a lot taller and put on a few pounds since I was at HHDR. I was only 12 pounds when I left but now I’m 30 pounds and growing! Dad is gonna be putting up a fence in our yard so that I can play without my leash on. That will be fun! Dad says we are gonna learn to ride the kayak or canoe and maybe I can go fishing with him and my cousin humans. Those kids just love me so much! I just finished my basic obedience class and I’m gonna try for my STAR puppy. Plus Dad told me that we are gonna learn how to do something called “Dock Diving” in June. I don’t know what it is but it sure sounds like fun and Dad is excited because I will get to burn off even more of my puppy energy! I still rest a lot during the day and I can sleep almost 7 hours at night too! BUT! I play really hard too! I love fetch and I’m super good at it too! I get to use mommy’s treadmill to go for indoor runs when it’s too cold or yucky outside! It’s lots of fun to run on the treadmill! For sure!

I get to go to work with Dad every single day and it's just the two of us most of the time. But I get to visit with dad's customers and they all seem to think I'm just the cutest ever! Dad likes when his customers give me lovins because he smiles and gives me treats when they leave.

Well I guess you can tell I am super happy and just love my mommy and daddy so much! Plus I'm a good boy I know because EVERYBODY tells me! Even my Grammy! And she told me she only likes me and no other dogs! Her kitties have a little different opinion I think cause they just go hide when I come over!

Here is a couple of pictures that Dad took of me. Mostly sleeping because I'm hard to get pictures of when I zoom!

Thank you all for bringing me to New York! I am very happy and it's all because you helped me meet my Daddy and Mommy.

Isaac (5/18)

Isaac now known as Milo is doing great. He has settled right in. He enjoys weekends at the lake and is learning to love the boat. He attends doggie day care a few days a week and loves playing with all the other dogs. We are starting training classes this week to work on some of his "behaviors".

Ichabod (5/18)

Banner (formally Ichabod) has adjusted wonderfully to our family. He is the sweetest pup ever! He has learned sit, lay down, quiet, fetch, to ignore cats, and is learning good leash manners.

Izzy Stephens (6/18)

Izzy who is now Piper has been an absolute joy! She is silly, playful, crazy and smart. My boys are 5 and 6 and they are absolutely obsessed with her and she is equally obsessed with them! They play every day, mostly chase in our backyard and there is lots of puppy kisses and giggles to be heard. We have about an acre of land and Piper loves to explore, lay in the grass, dig in the dirt and just be outside. She has also been a dream at the vets office, they all think she is just the cutest and she loves EVERYONE! She is healthy and has really seemed to settle into our family and home. Piper has also really enjoyed meeting the neighborhood dogs and playing with grandma’s dog who is a Cairn Terrier- they are so funny together! We are crazy about her. She will have a wonderful life with us and we are so grateful to have her.

Idaho

Everything is going well with us here after adopting Abby (formerly Idaho). She fits right in and we couldn't imagine life without her. She is utd on everything and finally lost those last couple pesky teeth.

Thank you for giving us the opportunity to bring her into our family
